This is a very interesting explanation, even tho I don't have the Zlob. I used to though, we had to fetch profi's… but you're better than a profi, dude!

Not true. It caught several infected file downloads on a website once before, and caught it and warned me before I even click the "Downloaded" link!

Trust me, avast! is far from crap. It even detected Zlob-CPC [Trj] in a Boot Time scan!

I had a trojan on my computer called Zlob-CPC [Trj]. avast! detected it in a Boot Time scan, and deleted it.

Considering all this, it seems that a Boot Time avast! scan will actually fix this problem, rather than the long process shown in this video.

Maybe you could try it out on a test computer or virtual computer. avast! picked it up at around 5% into scanning my computer in a Boot Time scan. If Zlob-CPC [Trj] is supposed to be hard to find and remove, then avast! did a bloody good job!

Where is the instruction file that you mentioned in the video that details what files and registry locations to clean up. I was expecting a link of it to show up. I just found your video and don't know where your site is at.

Hi I just found a way to completely remove Zlob. Download the free version of malwarebytes and run the quick scan, follow the prompts then restart your computer and it will completely remove it. I just did it and it worked!

Zlob is one nasty virus, it takes a lot of trial and error to get rid of it especially if it has been on the system for awhile.

If you are trying to download somethign and avast stops you, it is for a good reason. you have to trust it when it tries to stop you.

Avast is the best most trusted anti virus system, I have it as well and will block any website and such that contains viruses. Id say its a good tool, but if you want to download something its crap

airerchimera @ 4:42 pm

I think my PC was infect with this virus then I scaned with Spybot and lavasoft adware 2008 and it apparently remove it, but i'm having big problems with direct dowload speed. Can anyone tell me if this is a consequence of Zlob?
