I had something like that , it wouldn't go away. What did i do: I clicked yes, and then a box came up with: Do you wan't to open this file ( something like that) I Clicked no , and it got away! 8D

I've had one 10 times worse. It made my machine randomly shut down. Hell, I replaced both my hard drive and the power supply and it still kept doing it.
Turned out to be some type of CMOS virus. Had to clear the CMOS memory and reconfigure the BIOS and shit to fix it.
but get avast 4.8 pro (not free) or home (free) instead of avg.

this just proves that anything from microsoft is vuln. no matter how many times you update it or patch it…same thing goes with unix…except with unix everything runs through the BSD kernel…for ex: ubunto 8.04 LTS is currently running on a 2.6X kernel…
